Celebrities Promoting PETA

Missy Higgins has become the latest public figure who lends her celebrity status to support People for the Ethical Treatments of Animal (PETA), appearing in the organization's latest anti fur ad. "The only difference between your 'best friend' and animals killed for their fur is how we treat them. All animals suffer and feel pain. Please don't wear any fur or fur trim," read the tagline that accompanies her ad shot.

Supporting PETA's causes, in fact, isn't something new for Missy Higgins. A few years back, she appeared in its pro-vegetarian ad. At that time she was photographed holding a pig with both of her hands.

Missy's latest appearance on PETA's anti-fur ad puts her in line with the likes of big screen beauty Charlize Theron and "Friday Night Lights" star Aimee Teegarden, both of whom have spoken up for animals who are killed for their fur.

Jessica Simpson photographed wearing a T-shirt with the slogan, “Real Girls Eat Meat,”

Jessica Simpson was recently photographed wearing a T-shirt with the slogan, “Real Girls Eat Meat,” written across her chest and boy did it piss off the people over at PETA, or People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

It appears that Jessica Simpson’s Real Girls Eat Meat” shirt has pissed off more than one fellow celebrity. Her shirt that was intended to piss of Carrie Underwood has come under fire again. Pamela Anderson is stark raving mad at Jess’ attempt at humor.
